Eating a burrito, tacos or anything on the menu at the Kettering Chipotle restaurant will give a local arts organization a much needed shot in the arm.

Between 6 and 10 p.m. today (March 7, 2013), the restaurant will donate 50 percent of its sales to the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company.

Diners must present a flyer or simply mention the fundraiser to participate, said Ted Kruso, the restaurant’s manager.

“We want to help the community and not just make money,” he said.

At a recent community event, DCDC Executive Director RoNita Hawes Saunder said the donation is generous and it’s appreciated.

She pointed out that businesses typically donate 10 to 20 percent of sales during such community fundraisers.

The “Cause and Effect ….. ONE responsibly raised BURRITO AT A TIME” fundraiser is available only at the Kettering Chipotle located at 4329 Far Hills Ave.

Established in 1968, DCDC is the oldest modern dance company in Ohio and one of the largest companies of its ilk between Chicago and New York.
