The Small Business Association in partnership with the Small Business Development Centers for the State of Ohio is looking for individuals who would be able to help at our 2013 Ohio Business Matchmaker Convention. The Ohio Development Services Agency is recruiting volunteers who are available as hosts, escorts, ushers and Q&A specialists. United Rehabilitation Services of Greater Dayton (URS) is seeking volunteers for the 15th annual Bud Light Barstool Open. This event will be held Feb. 23, a Saturday, to benefit adults and children with disabilities and special needs in the Dayton area. This event is a fun indoor miniature golf outing through nine bars in the North Dayton area. Teams of four golfers travel from bar to bar completing a total of nine holes during the event, which takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Volunteers are needed in each bar for two different shifts (10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 1:45 to 6 p.m.). Volunteers assist with scoring, rules and directing the teams to the next bar. Food and shirts will be provided for the volunteers. More information is available online at www.ursdayton.org.
