Fort McKinley Circles is seeking Circle Ally Volunteers. A primary goal for Circle Allies is to form a friendship with a family in poverty. The request is for a Circle Ally to commit to volunteer for 18 months consisting of four to 10 hours per month. Volunteers will receive support and guidance by attending three orientation sessions, regularly scheduled ally support sessions, and collaboration with others is available, as well. Staff is also available to answer questions, provide mentoring and assist with conflict resolution.

The Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services Center is seeking volunteers for Gift of Life couriers/evening branch positions. Using the organization’s vehicle, volunteers will pick up blood from branch locations so that it may be delivered later to 25 hospitals within a 15-county region. Volunteers for this position must be at least 23 years old and have a clean driving record. A commitment of at least six months is required, and all volunteers are asked to register for at least one shift per month.
