Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity is seeking Family Advocates. As a family advocate, volunteers will work directly with partner families through their Habitat journey to home ownership. This is a long-term volunteer opportunity, but with a small time commitment each month consisting of only one to two hours. Some key responsibilities are building relationships with families, helping educate the families on responsible home ownership, mortgages and social services and supporting the family emotionally and spiritually. Volunteer tasks include answering phones, greeting visitors and providing clerical and administrative support to our staff.
