Chief diversity officer named at Wright State

FAIRBORN – Matthew Boaz has been named the University’s chief diversity officer, which will become effective on Wednesday, March 1.

Boaz is a nationally recognized leader in diversity, inclusion, equity, and access. Boaz is currently the University’s director of equity and inclusion.

Boaz has extensive experience in aiding underrepresented students and strengthening recruiting efforts.

In his new role, Boaz will provide leadership in promoting a campus that supports a campus culture that supports diversity and inclusion, forging new partnerships with students, faculty, and staff.
