University of Cincinnati, Sinclair begin tech partnership in Mason

Sinclair Community College and the University of Cincinnati will sign a new partnership on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Sinclair Courseview Campus Center in Mason.

The partnership enables Sinclair students to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at UC.

The program offers students the opportunity to complete an associate’s degree, undergraduate degree, master’s degree and three semesters of full-time, paid work experience at the Sinclair-Mason campus:

The program is the result of a continued partnership between UC and Sinclair and targets graduating high school students and working adults.

“The new UC/Sinclair IT program is the absolute perfect opportunity for me to receive my B.S. in Information Technology from an amazing school with a tuition rate that is more than affordable. My dreams of attending school for a four-year university education have become a reality! I could not be more thankful to Sinclair Community College and University of Cincinnati for opening these doors that were once closed for me,” Parker Roe, a Sinclair student said in a press release.

The event will feature remarks by students, academic and industry leaders, as well as an overview of the program. The event is to run from 10 a.m. to noon at the campus at 5386 Courseview Dr. Building B, Room 115, in Mason.
