City manager search brings local, national applicants

The city of Centerville is set to choose their next city manager, with long-time city manager Greg Horn set to retire next month.

The city is reviewing resumes from five applicants, submitted to consulting firm Novak Group. While there are some from the area, and even more broad in Ohio — the Centerville search has brought applicants from across the country.

Ohio applicants include Sara Mills, human resources director in Kettering, Wayne Davis, city manager of Montgomery and John Jezak, city administrator of Maumee.

Todd Thompson, city manager for Galesburg, Ill. and Jon Amundson, assistant city manager of Richland, Wash. round out the five being considered for the position.

Greg Horn served as city manager for 25 years. His last day is July 5.
