The board is scheduled to continue a hearing on the tax increase on those staying overnight at hotels and other lodgings. The tax is expected to take effect in coming months.

The Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau, which is to operate the facility for the county, is expected to begin construction this year, so that the facility can be ready for regional soccer, baseball and other sport competitions at the facility off Ohio 741 and green tree Road in Turtlecreek Twp.
The hearing is to be reopened on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m.

The commissioners are almost certain to approve the tax hike, part of a web of agreements and approval underlying the 4,500-home Union village planned community.

But the commissioners decided to continue a hearing delayed in January 2016 due to problems with enacting the tax hike.

Local Republican tea party leaders have criticized the project.
The commissioners meet at 406 Justice Dr. in Lebanon.
