2 injured when pickup truck-and-trailer crash off I-675 South in Fairborn

Two people are recovering this morning after their pickup truck, which was hauling a trailer, crashed off the right side of I-675 South, near Ohio 444, in Fairborn Thursday evening.

Both people in the vehicle were taken to Soin Medical Center.

Sgt. John Chesser, Ohio Highway Patrol, said the truck went off the right side of the interstate, over-corrected and veered toward the left side of the road, then over-corrected a second time and finally continued off the right side of the road. The crash was reported around 6:45 p.m.

The vehicle and trailer came to rest in bushes and trees off the shoulder of the road.

Both people in the vehicle suffered minor injuries, Chesser said. The accident shut down I-675 South for a time.
