All-clear given after bomb threat at Tri-County North schools

An all-clear has been given at Tri-County North schools after a written bomb threat was discovered Thursday morning. 

Students and faculty members have been allowed to return inside the building, following an evacuation and search. 

Additional details were not immediately available. 

Students and faculty members of Tri-County North schools in Lewisburg remain evacuated from the building while a bomb threat continues to be investigated, according to district Superintendent William Derringer. 

A student found a written threat on a bathroom wall sometime around 8 or 8:30 a.m. prompting the evacuation, Derringer said. 

K9 officers are currently sweeping the building to check for anything suspicious. 

No injuries have been reported.

The school district said the threat is under investigation and the school has been evacuated.
