Centerville Library, 111 W. Spring Valley Road, is hosting a throwback family movie night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 22.
This month’s movie is Oliver & Company. Popcorn and snacks will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring bean bag chairs or pillows.

A teen lock-in slated at library
A teen lock-in will be held from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. Sept. 23 at Centerville Library, 111 W. Spring Valley Road.
Registration is required.
Participants can enjoy pizza, gaming, flashlight tag, karaoke and a scavenger hunt. This is open to students in sixth through 12th grade.

KETTERING
Junior fall basketball starts Oct. 4
The junior fall basketball program will run Oct. 4 through Oct. 29 at the Kettering Recreation Complex, 2900 Glengarry Drive, and is geared toward boys and girls 5-6.
The goal is to develop skills and sportsmanship and learn the fundamentals of basketball. All coaches are volunteers or parents. Each player will play at least half of each game.
A one-hour practice will be held from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. on Wednesdays and one-hour games will be held Sundays.
Registration is required. The cost is $35 for residents and $40 for nonresidents.

Clay Fest to be held Sept. 30
Clay Fest, A Celebration of Clay, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 30 at Rosewood Arts Centre, 2655 Olson Drive.
The day will include ceramics demonstrations, a pottery sale, interactive art and a wheel pottery throw down.

Terrific Tales set for Tuesdays
Terrific Tales on Tuesdays will gather from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Tuesdays at Wright Memorial Public Library, 1776 Far Hills Ave. The next get-together will be Sept. 26.
Stories, songs and crafts will help social and school-readiness skills.
The program is geared toward children 3-5. Participants must be accompanied by an adult.
