Winter famers market through April
The city of Fairborn has moved the Farmers Market inside the Fairborn Senior Center, 325 N. 3rd St., for the winter. There will be baked goods, bread, vegetables, jams, jellies, and honey available for sale.
The Winter Market will be held on the following dates from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.: Dec. 20, Jan. 3, Feb. 7, March 7, and April 4 and 18.

Water main replacement bids accepted
The city of Bellbrook is accepting bids for the Upper Hillside Drive water main improvements. The project will include replacing the water main in the Upper Hillside Drive subdivision.

Christmas in the Park Dec. 9
On Dec. 9 from 5-7 p.m. the city of Bellbrook will kick off the holiday season in Bellbrock Park, 57 N. Main St. with its annual Christmas in the Park festival. The festival will begin with a park lighting ceremony to welcome Santa to the park. Local music groups will fill the park with seasonal carols while Santa meets with his clients. Free activities for kids and families will include: crafts, gingerbread contest tent, and hot chocolate. Donations of winter clothing items will be accepted on behalf of the Bellbrook Family Resource Center benefiting local families in need this winter. There will also be a bake sale to benefit the Bellbrook High School service group Partnerships for Success.
Dads and tots Christmas Dec. 16
On Dec. 16 from 10-12 p.m. at the Narrows Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Road, Xenia, dads can help their preschoolers make items to give as gifts for the holiday. Enjoy some Christmas cookies and hot chocolate while working on your projects. Registration is required by Dec. 11. Fees are $10 for Greene County residents and $15 for non-resident. Santa’s Holiday in the Park Dec. 7-9
On Dec. 7-9 from 6-9 p.m. come out to James Ranch Park, 177 Fairgrounds Road, Xenia, for Santa’s Holiday in the Park. This free annual event will feature a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus inside an 1800’s farmhouse. Photos by betterImages will be available for a nominal fee.
Enjoy a walk through the illuminated park, and many other fun holiday-themed activities. Live reindeer will make an appearance Dec. 8. This event is free but operates solely on the donations received during the event.
