Clayton police ask: Do you recognize vehicle in this hit/skip crash?

The Clayton Police Department is asking for your help in locating the driver of a white, four-door sedan involved in a hit/skip crash with a motorcyclist on Nov. 25.

The motorcyclist has been treated and released, police officials said Wednesday in a Facebook post.

Police were dispatched to North Main Street and Springway Drive about 3:15 p.m. that Saturday on a report of a hit/skip injury crash.

The suspect vehicle, bearing unknown registration, was turning left onto Springway when the motorcyclist was hit. The rider was sent tumbling over the hood and landed several yards away in high grass and bushes on the side of the road.

The sedan, its front end heavily damaged, continued along Springway.

Wednesday, police released a video of the incident.
