The truck driver, who was not identified, did not see the motorcycle and crashed into it head-on, Taylor said.

The motorcyclist, identified only as a man in his early 50s, suffered a serious head and leg injury and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The man’s condition was not immediately available.

The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Investigators are working to determine if glare from the sun limited visibility and played a factor in the crash.
