But bicyclists can obtain free front and rear bike lights between 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday during the “Lights on Bike Night” event to be held at the Wright Stop Plaza Link Station at 1 S. Main St. and RiverScape MetroPark.
The program is intended to increase the awareness about the need for bike lights. It is being put on by Bike Miami Valley, the Dayton Police Department and the Major Taylor Cycling Club of Dayton. Lights will be provided by the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission.
