Fairborn names 4 city manager candidates

Four candidates will interview to become Fairborn’s next city manager, according to the search firm hired to fill the vacancy.

The candidates will come to Fairborn for interviews on Feb. 23-24. The two-day visits will include a tour of the city, a public reception and interviews with city council.

In addition to the four candidates, Economic Development Director Bob Anderson is selected as an alternative candidate, should one of the four drop from the process.

The candidates are:

Lowell Crow — City administrator, Monmouth, Ill., since 2014

John Jezak — City administrator, Maumee, Ohio, since 2000

John Murphy — City manager, Hobbs, NM, since 2012

Thomas Thomas — City manager, Rock Island, Ill., from 2011-2016
