The Health Department accepts Medicare Part B and most insurance. It also accepts cash, check and credit or debit cards (including health savings cards) to pay for the vaccine.
Traditional injectable flu shots are available, as well as nasal mist and intradermal vaccine. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Special evening clinics for children are offered each month. For more information about the flu or for special clinic days and times, visit Public Health’s website at miamicountyhealth.net or call (937) 573-3500 option 7. NANCY BOWMAN, CONTRIBUTING WRITER
