Do you recognize this Franklin CVS robbery suspect?

UPDATE @ 11:22 a.m. (March 29)

Franklin police are determining whether there is a “connection” between two robberies of drug stores in Franklin and Middletown, said Franklin Police Chief Russ Whitman.

The CVS in Franklin was robbed Tuesday night when a man handed a pharmacist a note, demanding drugs. A similar robbery was committed March 23 at the CVS in the 800 block of Breiel Boulevard in Middletown.

Both suspects were black men wearing hoodies and they allegedly handed a note.

But Whitman said the man who allegedly committed the robbery in Middletown was described as “stocky,” while the Franklin suspect was “tall and thin.”

In the 9-1-1 tape the Franklin Police Department released this morning, the clerk told dispatchers the suspect left the store and was walking toward Speedway. But Whitman said the surveillance shows the suspect walking toward Main Street.

Whitman said his officers were on scene quickly. He believes the suspect may have left the area in a vehicle.
