Gunman demands prescription drugs in Lebanon CVS robbery

Police are searching for a gunman who demanded prescription painkillers Friday night from the Lebanon CVS Pharmacy.

The Lebanon Division of Police was called at 8:20 p.m. to the drugstore, 605 Columbus Ave., on a report of an armed robbery.

A man entered the store and went to the pharmacy counter, showed a black handgun and demanded oxycodone pills, police said. The pharmacist complied and the suspect got away with an undisclosed number of pills.

The suspect is described as a man in his 40s who stands between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall who was wearing a green sweatshirt with strips on the sleeves, a tan ball cap and blue jeans. He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who is able to identify him is urged to call Lebanon police at 513-932-2010.
