Haunted old Butler County school to be featured on national TV

A former Butler County school that is believed to be haunted will be featured on national television.

Poasttown Elementary School, a former Madison Twp. school building that is now the home of Darrell and Brenda Whisman, will be featured on the TLC show "Ghost Brothers."

The episode is scheduled to air at 10 p.m. April 21.

Formally skeptical of anything paranormal, Darrell Whisman, claims the building is haunted by former students and victims of tragic train accidents.

The former school is believed to have been very close to two train accidents, one where two locomotives collided head-on in 1910, killing 30 people.

With no hospital close by, the field where the school now exists was set up as a triage center. The thought is that the spirits of those who died from the accident still remain on the land.
