Huber Heights out of running for Mont. Co. Fairgrounds site

Huber Heights is out of the running for the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, the city announced Friday.

The Montgomery County Agricultural Society was considering a site on Interstate 70 near the Gander Mountain store as the home of the new county fairgrounds.

“The project’s budget requires specific limits on land acquisition costs in order to complete the facilities and buildings to the quality and specifications desired by the Montgomery County Agricultural Society,” said Clerk of Council Anthony Rodgers in a statement, adding, “therefore, the Montgomery County Agricultural Society is no longer considering the land in Huber Heights for this project.”
