Crews were dispatched to the area of North Dixie Drive and Hillsdale Avenue after a car crashed into a pole and a parked vehicle around 1:15 a.m.
A witness to the wreck said he ran outside to investigate after hearing a loud “boom”.
“There were a couple of individuals who were running from the car, but returned to check on the injured person,” said the witness.
Authorities say there were three people inside the vehicle, which was possibly stolen, at the time of the crash.
The condition of the person who was transported is reportedly non-life threatening.
Surveillance video from a nearby business, obtained by this news outlet, captured the crash.
Dayton Power & Light personnel were called to the scene for the damaged pole.
The crash remains under investigation.
