5 injured in 3-vehicle accident on I-75 South in Moraine, police say

Five people injured in a three-vehicle accident on I-75 South near the Dryden Road (Ohio 741 - North Springboro Pike) exit have been taken to hospitals.

Moraine police tell us three of the victims have been taken to Kettering Memorial Hospital by medic unit and two others have been taken to a hospital by private conveyance.

According to the preliminary investigation, a vehicle traveling at high speed clipped an SUV and that collision forced the SUV into a Cadillac sedan. The sedan ended up against a guardrail, along with the SUV. The speeding vehicle ended up on the other side of the interstate.

The right and center lanes of the interstate have reopened since the accident, which was reported about 4:40 p.m.
