2 men accused of drug activity near Dayton Regional STEM School

Warrants were issued today for the arrests of two men accused in drug-dealing activity near the Dayton Regional STEM School.

Dante Wood, aka Polo Wood, is charged with 25 felonies for offenses related to the trafficking and possession of heroin, fentanyl and cocaine between Nov. 15, 2016, and Jan. 16, near the Dayton Regional STEM School, at 1724 Woodman Drive in Kettering, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office. One of the heroin trafficking charges against Wood, of Dayton, includes a one-year firearm specification because he allegedly had a weapon following a previous felony conviction.

A second man, Donald E. Casey of Dayton, also is named a defendant for a Dec. 23, 2016, incident. Casey, 57, was indicted for possession of cocaine and for having a weapon after a previous drug conviction, the prosecutor's office said.

Authorities are seeking both men, who are scheduled to be arraigned March 9 in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
