Ohio AG Mike DeWine: People are waiting to see what Trump has to say

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine is in Washington for the inauguration.

We caught up with him at Reagan Airport in D.C. after a flight from Columbus.

“I think it’s always interesting to see what the new president says,” DeWine said Thursday.

His wife, Fran, and his grandchildren are also attending Friday’s inauguration.

“These speeches, many times they are remembered,” DeWine said. “Many times they are not remembered.”

DeWine said that “people are really going to be looking to see what Donald Trump says tomorrow.”

“I think the inauguration itself, the transfer of power is something every American should see.”
