Police looking for teens suspected of 2 Sprint store break-ins

Police are looking for a group of teens suspected of breaking into two Sprint stores last weekend in Butler Twp. and Miamisburg.

According to a media release, Butler Twp. police said five people, believed to be black, male, teenagers, shattered the front door of the Sprint store at 3456 York Commons Boulevard around 4:30 a.m. on April  15.

The suspects stole multiple display cell phones during the burglary.

Surveillance video captured the teens leaving the scene in a green SUV, with the vehicle’s license plate appearing to be hanging by only one screw.

About an hour later, the same teens, in the same green SUV, broke into the Sprint store at 261 North Springboro Pike in Miamisburg.

It was not clear if anything was taken during the second break-in.

The case is being investigated by both the Butler Twp. Police Department and the Miamisburg Police Department.

Anyone with information can contact the Butler Twp. police dispatch center at 937-233-2080, or the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center at 937-225-4357.
