A shooting victim has been dropped off at Miami Valley Hospital and Dayton police are looking for the location of the incident.

Officers responded to the hospital around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday after the victim was dropped off by a private vehicle, according to dispatch records.

The condition of the victim was not immediately known.
Police are looking in the area of Germantown Street and Danner Avenue where the shooting is believed to have occurred, dispatchers said.
