Officers are looking for witnesses and suspects in a Dayton stabbing Sunday morning, police told our crew at the scene.
Police said they believe the stabbing took place in an apartment on Deeds Avenue, but said they are still attempting to piece together a crime scene.
The male victim is said to have suffered life-threatening injuries with multiple stab wounds to his torso, according to police.
Officers told our crew they believe the man’s lung was collapsing before medics took him from the scene.

Our crew at the scene of a reported stabbing in Dayton said medics have removed one person from an apartment in the 200 block of Deeds Avenue.
Police have taped off a duplex in the area, according to our crew.
Initial reports indicate the person stabbed is being taken to Miami Valley Hospital with possible life-threatening injuries.
It is unknown if police have been able to locate any suspects.

INITIAL REPORT (Oct. 16)
Police and medics are responding to a reported stabbing in Dayton Sunday morning.
Crews were dispatched around 8:16 a.m. to the 200 block of Deeds Avenue on a report of a person stabbed.
Initial reports indicate two men, who are no longer at the scene, tried to rob a 9-1-1 caller’s boyfriend before stabbing him.
The man was stabbed in the leg according to initial reports.
