Poster contest winner

Abigail Kerestes, a Wayne High School senior, was the Grand Prize Winner in The Montgomery County Drug-Free Coalition’s 2017 Poster and Poetry Contest. She earned a $100 cash prize, plus a college scholarship of her choice (subject to acceptance and enrollment): nine credit hours at Sinclair Community College, $2,000 for Wright State University, or $5,000 for the University of Dayton. First Runner-ups: Division 2 Poster category 9-12, Annette Barr of Miamisburg H.S.; Division 1, 6-8, Mary Wellmeier of Mad River Middle School. First Runner-ups: Division 2 Poetry category 9-12, Chelsey Snellabarger of Brookville H.S.; Division 1, 6-8, Drake Damron of Miamisburg Middle School. Second Runner-ups: Kamry Wright, Camren Troutman, Jasmine Ravenscraft, and Nicole Bryant. All will receive recognition at an Awards Presentation at K12 Gallery & TEJAS at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15. CONTRIBUTED
