Proposed assisted living facility moving forward

Centerville will continue to move forward with residential development near Yankee Trace, after approving consolidation of more than 66 acres of land at the future site of the Randall Residence assisted living facility.

The Randall Residence of Centerville will be located at the intersection of Sheehan and West Social Row roads, at the former site of the Rabold Farm. The 171,021-square-foot facility will offer 84 quadplex condo style apartments, 60 independent living apartments, 58 assisting living apartments, and 48 memory support apartments.

A final development plan from the developer is expected to be presented to Centerville planning commission next Tuesday, according to city planner Andrew Rodney.

Woodland Greens, a single-family housing development in the same plot of land, is also impacted by the consolidation. The 67-unit housing development will occupy nearly a third of the land, to the north of the Randall Residence.
