All lanes now open on WB I-70 after semi-truck fire

UPDATE @ 8:55 p.m.:

All lanes are now open on westbound I-70 after a semi-truck caught fire.

It is still unknown how the fire started or if anyone is injured.

UPDATE @ 5:15 p.m.:

The left lane of westbound I-70 near the 17 mile marker is currently closed due to the semi-truck fire, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The traffic is also backed up on westbound I-70, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation cameras.

FIRST REPORT: 

A semi-truck on fire has been reported on westbound I-70, between the 17 and 18 mile marker.

Crews were dispatched around 4:25 p.m.

Clay Twp., Dayton, Englewood, Brookville, and Lewisburg have all responded to the fire, according to dispatch.

It is unknown how the fire started or if there are any injuries.
