WATCH: The Ohio River is rising, prompting flood warnings for some areas

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Ohio River at Cincinnati from late Sunday until early Friday.

The  river has been rising at a steady pace with the recent rain and there are even ducks floating in water where a road once was.

According to our news partner WCPO, the Ohio River is expected to rise to about 55 feet by Wednesday in areas near Cincinnati. Several major roads in Cincinnati have already closed for flooding including Kellogg Road, Eight Mile Road and Four Mile Road.

The Ohio River is expected to fall back below flood stage by Friday afternoon.
