Wind damage was reported across the Miami Valley, with signifant damage being reported in Clark County near Enon. Hail was also reported across the area.
The National Weather Service is conducting a storm survey Thursday in Clark and Greene counties.

Heavy damage -- including siding ripped off a home in Clark County to a tree uprooted by what one woman in Dayton claims was a tornado -- was reported from heavy storms that hit the Miami Valley late Wednesday afternoon and evening.
There were no injuries reported from any of the damage.
“I stepped out on the porch and my son started screaming ‘take cover take cover!’ Jeanine Roberts told News Center 7’s Kate Bartley. “When I was standing on the front porch, I saw the twister coming down the street and you could see it throwing debris.”
She said a large pine tree -- she estimates it to have been 40 feet tall -- was uprooted and deposited in her yard on Virginia Avenue in Dayton.

“It’s just the hand of God that it didn’t” hit the house, Roberts said. “It could have fallen any other way, but it didn’t. It fell just the right way, so everybody’s safe.”
The tree -- or what’s left of it -- belongs to Bridget Bussell.
“I just heard this loud noise and I ran downstairs and my tree had fallen over,” she said.
“We have tons of birds and tons of squirrels and tons of cats that hang out under it. It’s just always been part of our yard, so it’s kind of sad to see it go.”

Here are other reports of widespread damage:
11:06 p.m.: In Sugarcreek Twp., law enforcement reported the tops of 20 to 25 trees were ripped off at the Sugarcreek Metropark
11:55 p.m. In Moraine, near the intersection of Hemple and South Union roads, a tree removal service is expected to work through the night to remove a tree that fell on a house. Additional details were not available.
9:23 p.m.: In Bethel Twp., Clark County, several homes in the area of Whispering Winds Drive and New Carlisle Pike have been damaged by high winds. Shingles were blown off homes and the side of one home was severely damaged. There were no injuries reported.
7:45 p.m.: Trees reported down in Montgomery County, on King Avenue and South Wright at Huffman avenues in Dayton. No injuries reported.
7:31 p.m.: Report of a tree down in Clark County, on wires that has trigged a fire, 2700 block of Woodthrush Road, Springfield.
7:18 p.m.: Heavy wind damage in Clark County, in the 7500 block of Dayton Springfield Road, Enon.
7:03 p.m.: Tree reported down in Montgomery County, on Embury Park Road and Ridge Avenue in Dayton. No injuries reported.
6:50 p.m.: Strong winds believed to uproot a large pine tree, on Virginia Street in Dayton.
6:49 p.m.: Tree uprooted from yard on Dayton-Springfield Road, northeast of Fairborn in Greene County.
6:33 p.m.: Structure fire, believed to have been started by lightning, in the 2600 block of Tangy Court in Harrison Twp.
6:30 p.m.: A large tree was toppled and crushed an automobile, on King Avenue, in Dayton.
6:30 p.m.: Report of lightning strike in Montgomery County, in the 8900 block of Forney Road, New Lebanon.
6:30 p.m.: Grandstand damaged at Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Dayton.
6:18 p.m.: Several large limbs down, pieces of a barn's tin roof blown off, west of New Lebanon, Montgomery County. Tin roof on a second barn pulled back, southwest of New Lebanon. Both reports from amateur radio to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
6:11 p.m.: Tree reported down in Montgomery County, 8200 block of Puddenbag Road, German Twp.
