Woman clearing snow flips ATV at Charleston Falls Preserve

A woman working to clear snow at Charleston Falls Preserve in Miami County suffered the latest calamity due to this weekend’s winter storm.

Her all-terrain vehicle flipped sometime before 1 p.m. She had to be taken to an area hospital from the park, 2535 E. Ross Road.

A deputy with the Miami County Sheriff’s Office said the woman was walking and suffered injuries that were not considered serious.

According to initial reports, the woman landed underneath the ATV.

Charleston Falls Preserve features 216 acres of prairie and forests and is most known for its "miniature Niagara"waterfall. The Miami County Park District said it's the most visited of its properties.
