Xenia district superintendent plans to retire

Xenia schools Superintendent Denny Morrison has announced his plans to retire this summer.

Morrison submitted his letter of resignation to the district’s school board Wednesday and plans to leave the district July 31.

According to Morrison, he is retiring to spend time with his family and appreciated the opportunity to serve the Xenia schools community.

The superintendent previously served as superintendent at Beavercreek and Mad River Schools.  He also previously worked at the Fairborn district as a curriculum director and principal.
