March Madness: Fewer than 500 tickets left for each First Four session at UD Arena

March Madness begins today in Dayton and there are still tickets available for the First Four games today and tomorrow.

As of Monday evening, there were fewer than 500 tickets left for each evening of games at the University of Dayton Arena, a UD spokesman said.

The tickets available are mostly located in the middle or back of the upper levels, also referred to as the 200 and 300 levels of the arena, according to Ticketmaster.

The remaining tickets on Ticketmaster's website range in price from $50 to $70. Ticket resale website StubHub also still has tickets available with some lower level ones going for as much as $240, according to the website.

The Long Island University Brooklyn Blackbirds will take on the Radford University Highlanders at 6:40 p.m. this evening and the St. Bonaventure Bonnies will play the UCLA Bruins at 9:10 p.m.

Then on Wednesday the Texas Southern University Tigers will face off against the North Carolina Central Eagles at 6:40 p.m. and the Syracuse Orange will play the Arizona State Sun Devils at 9:10 p.m.

UD and the Dayton community have hosted the First Four for seven years. The First Four began as the expanded NCAA “play-in,” round to the 68-team men’s basketball tournament.
