UD named a ‘best value’ among nation’s colleges

The University of Dayton was named one of the “best values” in higher education by Kiplinger, ranking 59 out of 100 among private schools.

Kiplinger, an organization focusing on personal finance and business forecasting, weighs academic quality and affordability to determine which colleges offer the “best value.”

Xavier University in Cincinnati came in at 96 among private schools, according to the report.

Kiplinger also ranked 300 public and private colleges alongside each other. On that list, the University of Dayton ranked 191, Ohio State came in at 107 and Miami University was ranked 147.

Below is a listing of every Ohio college that was ranked in Kiplinger’s list of 300:
