Assisted living facility worker in Florida arrested for filming couple having sex

A Florida woman who worked at an assisted living facility secretly recorded two residents having sex last year and posted the video on a social media website because she found it amusing, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

Alexis Gloria Rebecca Williams, 20, of St. Petersburg, was charged with one count of video voyeurism and one count of video voyeurism dissemination, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department said in a news release. Williams was a medical assistant at the Bristol Court Assisted Living Facility in St. Petersburg. She has now been fired, the Times reported.

According to detectives, on Aug. 1 a video was shot of a 59-year-old male resident at Bristol Court having consensual sex with another resident, an 81-year-old woman. The residents did not know anyone was recording what they were doing, according to the Sheriff's Office release.

Detectives said that an unidentified citizen saw the video on the social media website Snapchat and on Aug. 5 contacted the Bristol Court staff about the sexually explicit video. The staff called deputies, the Times reported.

Detectives identified Williams as the employee after a seven-month investigation and arrested her. When questioned on Wednesday she admitted she had shot the video, the Times reported. According to spokesman Sgt. Spencer Gross, Williams said she had done it "for her own amusement."
