Nancy O’Dell responds to Trump comments

Nancy O'Dell, an "Entertainment Tonight" host, called Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's comments crass and disappointing.

O'Dell is the "Nancy" who was the subject of lurid commentary by Trump that was leaked Friday.

"No female, no person, should be the subject of such crass comments, whether or not cameras are rolling," O'Dell told "Entertainment Tonight." "Everyone deserves respect no matter the setting or gender. As a woman who has worked very hard to establish her career, and as a mom, I feel I must speak out with the hope that as a society we will always strive to be better."

Trump and "Access Hollywood" host Billy Bush were aboard a bus that was taking them to the set of "Days of Our Lives" when the lewd conversation took place. At the time, it was believed to have been a private conversation.

Bush has apologized for his role in the remarks and deleted his Twitter account.
