A period and a comma, a small, unassuming punctuation mark may be putting a big spotlight on mental health.
You may have seen images of a semicolon tattoo, usually on the inside of someone's wrist, showing up on your social media pages.
It is part of a global initiative to talk about an unseen disease facing millions across the world - mental health and it's called "Project Semicolon."
According to the project's website, "A semicolon is used when an author could've chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. The author is you and the sentence is your life."
Project Semicolon calls itself "a faith-based non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and love to those who are struggling with depression, suicide, addiction and self-injury."
It actually started in 2013, but has been getting more exposure recently.
Take a look at how some have decided to not end their stories, but continue them.
