Usain Bolt will go for his eighth gold medal tonight as he competes in the 200-meter dash.

Bolt, who won the 100-meter sprint on Sunday, will compete in the 200-meter finals at 9:30 p.m. ET.

American Justin Gatlin, who many believed would give Bolt a run for his money in the 200,  finished third in his semi-final and did not qualify for the race. Gatlin won silver Sunday in the 100-meter final.

LaShawn Merritt will be representing Team USA in the race.
