New pizza concept opens south of Dayton

Domino’s has opened a new kind of store in Waynesville.

The locally-owned “pizza theater,” located at 368 S. Main St., is now open for business and features a unique interior store design. It includes a comfortable lobby, indoor seating, open-area viewing of the food preparation process, and a drive-thru for carryout.

Patrons can also track carryout orders electronically on a lobby screen, and the store has chalkboards for customers to express their creativity or leave feedback for employees.

“We are dedicated to the Waynesville area, and are excited to bring the pizza theater concept to local residents,” said Lou Metro, Waynesville Domino’s franchise owner. “Our newly designed stores are open-concept and allow customers to watch their pizza being made, each step of the way. Domino’s is bringing the art and fun of pizza making to the forefront.”

The store is also looking to hire delivery drivers. People interested in applying for a position should visit jobs.dominos.com
