KETTERING —
All animals were checked out and given the OK after a dryer caught fire Sunday afternoon at Tannenberg Kennels in Kettering.
Amy Wyant, vice president of the business, located at 2625 East Stroop Rd., said a fast acting manager called 911 after seeing the fire. She stated the Kettering Fire Department arrived quickly and extinguished the fire within minutes.
None of the dogs or cats that are boarded at the kennel were kept near the dryer.
No persons or animals were injured.
