DAYTON —

Two out of three young men accused of stealing two cars from outside the Lohrey Center were arrested on Thursday evening.

Orione Ramey, 18, and Jamyrion Alexander, 20 are facing possible charges of theft and criminal damaging after they and one other individual allegedly took keys from two people they were playing basketball with on Wednesday evening and then stole those individuals’ cars from the parking lot on Glenarm Avenue.

Dayton Police reports indicate that officers spoke with Ramey on Wednesday and he eventually left one of the vehicles on Nordale Avenue for the victim to recover.

On Thursday evening, police received an assault call and were told by a teenage victim that Ramey had chased him on his bike on Shroyer Road and hit him, and that Alexander was with him.

That teen knew the pair and led police to an apartment complex where they hang out, according to the report. The third theft suspect was not located.

Ramey is facing an additional charge of assault related to the Thursday evening incident, according to reports.
