MIAMISBURG —

Cats removed from a Miamisburg home on Thursday are being cared for today at the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.

On Thursday, crews removed 47 cats from a home in the 1200 block of Lindsey Avenue after police received a complaint from a neighbor.

The animals were living in horrible conditions, a humane society officer said.

The occupants of the house were cooperative with police and animal resource officers and are not facing charges at this time.
