Adult, teen held at gunpoint in home invasion

By Breaking News Staff

DAYTON —

A man and his fiance’s 13-year-old daughter were held at gunpoint during a home invasion on East Norman Avenue late Sunday night.

The two were the only people home at about 10:25 p.m. Sunday when someone knocked on the door, according to a police report.

Two men armed with pistols and wearing ski masks forced their way inside, made the two get on their knees, and demanded money, according to the report.

One of the suspects pointed a gun at the girl said he wouldn’t hesitate to shoot her if the man didn’t give them money. But when the girl offered up $15 of her own money, the suspect said, “You keep your money baby girl,” the report said.

Eventually the suspects left with the man’s cell phone and a 50-inch flat screen TV, according to the report.

Neither individual was injured.

One of the suspects reportedly referenced knowing the male victim from prison more than five years ago.
