A statewide endangered child advisory has been issued for a 13-year-old girl believed to be in the company of a young man of Latino descent and headed to Kentucky or Texas.

Marissa Ann McCloud is believed to be involved in “illicit and dangerous street activities” in order to provide for her financial support, according to The Dayton Police Department, which issued the alert Wednesday afternoon.

Marissa, who also answers to Rissa, is white, 5 feet tall, 105 pounds and has long, straight black hair. She has hazel eyes and a scar between her neck and shoulder.

Her ears, nose and lip are pierced, according to police.

Marissa was last seen at a residence in the 900 block of Steele Avenue, where her mother had placed her because the child has a history of running away, according to police.

The mother, according to a missing persons report, told police Marissa was last seen at that address on Jan. 5 and is believed to be in the company of a young man who also lived at that address.

The police department issued the advisory because they believe Marissa is in danger. An AMBER Alert has not been issued because it not believed that Marissa was taken against her will.
