Man grazed by bullet while driving

DAYTON —

A man who showed up at Miami Valley Hospital with a wound on the back of his neck told police he thought he was grazed by a bullet while driving on Riverview Avenue early Tuesday morning.

According to a Dayton Police incident report, the 34-year-old victim was driving on Riverview Avenue at Philadelphia Drive at about 2 a.m. when he heard two shots and his passenger rear window shattered.

He said he felt something hit the back of his neck and drove to his brother’s house who then took him to the hospital.

The victim was not sure who shot at him or where the shots came from, according to the report.
