HUBER HEIGHTS —

A Dayton man has been indicted in the October shooting death of Tyree North in Huber Heights.

Montgomery County Prosecuting Attorney Mat Heck, Jr. announced today that Jesse Stinson has been indicted on four counts of murder, two counts of aggravated robbery, one count of aggravated burglary, and one count of having weapons under disability.

Stinson, 27, has been in jail since November when he was charged with several other felonies related to armed robberies at Bob’s Wine Store in Dayton, the Riverside Drive‐Thru in Riverside and Rolfe’s Jewelers in Springfield, all committed within a month of North’s death.

Prosecutors approved the additional murder-related charges on Jan. 17.

Stinson is scheduled to be arraigned on March 7.

North was found shot to death on Oct. 10 at his home on Mount Charles Drive. His girlfriend called 911 after returning home and finding the home ransacked and North unconscious on the ground.
