DAYTON —

A woman being held in the Montgomery County Jail Monday is accused of taking a man’s car and then dragging him and running him over with it when he tried to stop her from leaving early this morning.

Geanetta Phillips, 42, was arrested at about 3:20 a.m. pending a charge of aggravated robbery.

The victim, a 51-year-old man, said he had contact with police on Sunday about an altercation in which he allegedly hit Phillips 15-year-old daughter. He was told to stay away from the family, but claims Phillips called him and told him to meet her at an address on N. Paul Laurence Dunbar Street, according to a police report.

When he arrived, she allegedly took his keys and tried to drive off in his car, the report said.

He grabbed the door handle and she, “floored it,” dragging him and then partially running him over when he let go and fell to the ground, according to the report.

The victim was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with numerous injuries. His condition was not available Monday morning.

Phillips was located by police and the car was recovered.
